We provide 30 minute sessions of private instruction over a 6-week period. Once the training sessions and the pet parent coursework have been complete, the Good Citizen test will be conducted when you and your dog are ready.
Two hour evaluation session with a trainer to assess what problems you are experiencing and witness the connection between you and your dog first hand. The trainer will go over effective communication between you and your dognap speed of training assessment.
One full hour of instruction geared toward your dog's specific issues like jumping up or pulling on a leash. Your dog must complete the Evaluation before attending private sessions. Per hour rate.
We are certified and willing to work with aggressive dogs. Aggression is the most common and most serious behavior problem in dogs. It's also the number-one reason why pet parents seek professional help from trainers. Per hour rate.
Evaluation Session along with 3 Private Training Sessions. This is designed to work on Basic Obedience with 1 class showing you how to work with your dog effectively. This package offers a $50 discount versus purchasing classes separate.
Our course is a great introduction to simple cues and basic manners, using hand signals, verbal cues and loose leash walking to set a foundation and coming when called.
Our course continues to build a solid foundation of basic behaviors. Untrained adolescent and adult dogs can become easily distracted by their environment, which is why it's important to work on coming when called, leash-pulling, and impulse-control exercises like "stay", "leave-it", and "sit".
Our indoor socializing area features pet play equipment that is specifically designed to accommodate the unique needs of our furry family members. We also have comfy pet beds ready if they need a nap after all of their playtime. Fun, safe, and engaging, just what every pet wants!
We prefer to let your pet socialize and make other furry friends during their stay. If your pets like to have their own space and is uncomfortable around other dogs, we provide enclosed areas where they can see the other pets but are not required to interact.
Doggy Daycare Service is offered Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and on Saturdays by appointment only. Barks Fifth Avenue recommends scheduling your doggie daycare experience well in advance, in order to guarantee availability in our socializing room.
Barks Fifth Avenue offers a wide array of toys and promotes pet walks for our guests in order to keep them entertained and engaged throughout their stay with us. Prior to entering our socializing room, each pet guest is temperament tested to ensure the best possible experience.
Let’s get started. Dog care is our priority, so before your Doggie Daycare experience begins, each pet must be current on all of their vaccines prior to being introduced to the Barks Fifth Avenue playgroup.

Any Doggy Daycare guests that shows temperament issues will be placed in an enclosed private area to ensure safety for all participants. We understand that some pets like to have their own space.
Early drop-offs scheduled between 7:00am and 8:00am on weekdays will incur a $20 fee per pet guest.
Late pick-ups after 5:15pm to 5:30pm will incur a $20 fee per pet guest. Any late pick-ups from 5:30pm to 6:00pm will incur a $50 fee per pet guest. Pets may not stay overnight. No exceptions.
